Requirements

• macOS, Apple Silicon or Intel. A Linux x64 AppImage ships with each release but is experimental; Windows is not yet available.
• Git installed
• GitHub CLI for the PR workflows: optional, and Paradev offers to install it during onboarding. Run gh auth status to check.
• At least one coding agent you already use (Claude Code, Codex, Amp, ...). Paradev launches agents; it doesn't replace your subscriptions.

First Launch

Onboarding checks your prerequisites with live detection: install or sign in to anything missing and the checklist updates on its own.

1. GitHub CLI: install it if needed, then sign in. You can run gh auth login right inside the app.
2. Agents: Paradev detects Claude Code and Codex automatically. Everything else is configurable later under Settings → Agents.
3. Add a project: point Paradev at a local folder or a Git URL.

iPhone and iPad

Download Paradev for iPhone and iPad to continue your agents away from your desk. You need iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later and Paradev Pro. Enable Remote Access to reach agents on your computer. You can also use cloud workspaces without keeping your own computer connected. For workspaces on your own computer, keep that host awake and online.
